When was the last time you walked barefoot on the ground?

Taking off our shoes and walking or standing on the Earth frees up electrons from the body to the Earth. The human body consists of predominately oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, carbon, calcium, and phosphorous. When we stand on the earth, we ground ourselves. Long ago, our species spent all day and all night in connection with the earth.

Earthing is thought to help with vitality, inflammation, sleep, stress, and overall well-being. It is a great daily practice especially if you are looking for alternative ways to address chronic pain, inflammation, anxiety, or depression.

Here is your challenge:

1) Take off your shoes and socks and spend time barefoot for 30 minutes a day outside.

2) Leave your cell phone away from your body.

3) Walk, stand, and/or sit and reset. Integrate deep breathing or meditation if desired
